INITIAL TEACHER TRAINING AND BIOGRAPHIES OF WOMEN IN ILLUSTRATED NON-FICTION BOOKS

ABSTRACT

This research aims to influence the initial training for “Gender Equality” (SDG 5) from illustrated non-fiction books (LINF) and female biographies. It is framed in the qualitative paradigm, a participatory educational research in the degree in Primary Education, University of Cadiz (Spain). The LINF of biographies become the basis for the promotion of reading and the recognition of women from a social, educational and curricular justice perspective. The results and conclusions are projected in two LINF cartographies that advocate for equality and its visibility.
