The authors make some consideration about a nurse assistance program specialy designed for those patients with neurogenic bladder. The individuality of each patients is considered so they can become independent regarding to their self-carefulness, getting along and even over coming certain limitations, facilitating their reintroduction in the social and familial enviroument. A new desice is introduced. It is a glass built probe for female patients. This device was designed and assembled at the Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto. It will make possible to start and develop an orientational and self-probing program.
