SUMMARY
A furniture design prototype was assembled by massive belding wood from Amazonian species. The work was directed in the sense of promoting the utilization of native wοods as atternative manufacture accessibility to the consumers (on in the. mill work (process). Furthermore, new possibilite of decorative design, prototype size, by virtue, the wood caracteristics was concerned. For that, twenty one hardwood species were studied, four them shouwed the best results in which Itauba was used in the prototype construction.
