Abstract
In this article we will address the intertextual relationships present in the Andean memorial of grievances True Representation and a) the Old Testament book Lamentations of Jeremiah; b) Machiavelli's The Prince; c) the texts of Fray Bartolomé de las Casas; d) the main Andean chronicles (Garcilaso’s Royal Commentaries of the Incas and Guamán Poma's The First New Chronicle and Good Government). True Representation is an outstanding example of the Andean discourse developed from the beginning of the 17th century to the end of the 18th century.
