Abstract
In 1946, João Cabral de Melo Neto organized, at the request of Jaime Cortesão, then exiled in Brazil, the anthology De António Nobre ao saudosismo. Cabral selected the poets, wrote the preface and delivered the work that, however, was not published. From that selection, I have located some references in letters and testimonies, and the preface, which is still unpublished. I aim to present the trails of this unpublished work, quickly situating it within Cabral's relationships with the Portuguese poetic tradition.
