The electroencephalographic findings observed in twenty-nine pacients with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome were related with prognosis of the epileptic manifestations. The presence of slow spike-wave complexes with preponderance of spike over the slow wave and the presence of fixed complexes in spite of the medical treatment are related with poor prognosis for the epileptic manifestations.
