Open-access AESTHETIC EDUCATION: PRINCIPLES AND FOUNDATIONS BASED ON THE WORK OF L. S. VIGOTSKI

The article addresses Aesthetic Education in Vygotsky’s writings on art and creation. The chain of ideas emphasizes that Aesthetic Education has art as its object, characterized by working with technique, creation and aesthetic experience – rooted in emotion and imagination. This synthesis moves us away from an Aesthetic Education reduced to instrumentalisation, moralisation and fruition. For us, aesthetic education must move towards the idea that pedagogical work is a creative act.
