EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND SOCIAL QUALITY IN THE EXPERIENCES OF BRAZIL AND VENEZUELA

ABSTRACT

This article reflects on quality and educational assessment in Brazil and Venezuela and its focus is on the similarities and differences between these countries. In addition it also aims at different conceptions of rural education quality and its relationship within the building of educational processes and educational practices under the perspective of the integral training of the subjects involved. The assessment regulatory frameworks in these countries led us to the assumption that assessments that induce schools to self-assess can become tools for producing improvements in public education, under the perspective of social quality.
