CATHARINA MOURA AND WOMEN’S RIGHTS: A SPEECH IN MANY VOICES

ABSTRACT

The article proposes an indicative analysis to identify and problematize the readings that inspired Catharina Moura in the production of the text “Women’s rights”. Initially, it was presented at a congress in 1913 in the city of Parahyba do Norte (PB), Brazil, and, later, with modifications, submitted to the board of Congregation of Law School of Recife in 1921, referring to the 1912 award, entitled “Documents related to the school award of 1912”.
