Printed media and scientific education: an analysis of the marks of the discursive functioning in three publications

The diffusion of knowledge elaborated in the scientific sphere is constitutive of the educational functions of the media. This study thus discusses the relationships between texts in the scientific and journalistic spheres and the different values they are given; comparing the diffusion of knowledge by the media and the formal educational system, it identifies the marks of the discursive functioning in texts dealing with the transmission of scientific knowledge.
