Resumo: A obra de Afrikan Spir é uma importante fonte para entender a discussão de Nietzsche com a filosofia crítica. Ele procura superar a crítica transcendental através de uma investigação genética sobre a origem dos conceitos; ao mesmo tempo, tenta revelar os preconceitos e as idiossincrasias que se ocultam por detrás da vontade de manter a cisão entre mundo fenomenal e mundo numenal. A aversão pela mudança, pelo vir-a-ser, pelo testemunho dos sentidos, a predileção por verdades lógicas e conceitos contraditórios constituem, segundo Nietzsche, a forma específica de superstição dos filósofos críticos, dos quais a filosofia de Spir é o exemplo mais consequente.

Abstract: The work of Afrikan Spir is an important source to understand the discussion between Nietzsche and critical philosophy. He seeks to overcome the transcendental critique through a genetic investigation on the origin of concepts; at same time, tries to reveal the preconceptions and idiosyncrasies that hide behind the will to keep the separation between the phenomenal and noumenal worlds. The aversion to change, to the becoming, to the testimonial of the senses, the preference for logical truths and contradictory concepts constitute, according to Nietzsche, the specific form of superstition of the critical philosophers, of which Spir is the most prominent example.

Resumo: O artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre o ideal antropológico delineado por Nietzsche em seu último período. O modo como Nietzsche trata de conceitos tais como os de “alemão”, “bom europeu”, e “espírito livre” nas seções de Crepúsculo dos ídolos dedicadas a Goethe, será abordado de maneira especial. Finalmente, argumentar-se-á que o Renascimento desempenha também um papel importante no projeto antropológico de Nietzsche, uma vez que contribui para definir a força espiritual que caracteriza o tipo de homem saudável ao qual Nietzsche destina a sua sabedoria filosófica e gaia ciência.

Abstract: Aim of this paper is to reflect on the anthropological ideal Nietzsche outlines in his late period. The way Nietzsche deals with concepts such as “German”, “(good) European”, and “free spirit” in the sections of Twilight of the Idols which deal with Goethe will be especially considered. Furthermore, I shall argue that Renaissance plays an important role in Nietzsche’s anthropological project, for it helps to define the spiritual strength which characterizes the health type of man to which Nietzsche destined his late philosophical wisdom and gay science.

Resumo: Não obstante a filosofia de Nietzsche tenha exercido uma grande influência no pensamento de Said, essa influência ainda tem recebido pouca atenção crítica. O objetivo deste artigo é remediar essa lacuna incidindo particularmente nas diversas analogias que ligam o perspectivismo de Nietzsche à concepção de Said, presente em seu notório livro Orientalismo, segundo a qual não é possível haver representação verdadeira, uma vez que toda representação implica uma interpretação, que é ela mesma uma reconstrução do objeto de interpretação. A última parte do artigo busca mostrar que, embora ambos compreendam o conhecimento humano como perspectivo, nem Nietzsche, nem Said defendem um relativismo epistemológico radical.

Abstract: Although Nietzsche’s philosophy had a strong influence on Said’s thought, this influence has received so far little critical attention. The aim of this paper is to remedy this lack by focusing particularly on the several analogies that link Nietzsche’s perspectivism to Said’s claim, in his well-known book Orientalism, that there can be no true representation of anything, since every representation implies an interpretation, which is itself a rebuilding of the object of the interpretation. The last part of the paper is devoted to show that, despite their understanding of human knowledge as perspectival, neither Nietzsche nor Said defend a radical epistemological relativism.

Resumo: O presente artigo estuda a interpretação nietzschiana de um pré-socrático pouco considerado pela literatura secundária: Anáxagoras de Clazômenas. São evidenciados alguns elementos da completa originalidade interpretativa de Nietzsche com relação à tradicional exegese do filósofo grego, como, por exemplo, a leitura do Nous em termos materialistas, a explicação do nascimento das qualidades de disposições quantitativas ou interpretar as homeomerias anaxagorianas como pontos de força. Dessas e de outras características da leitura nietzschiana de Anaxágoras emergem aspectos específicos que se encontrarão adiante na teoria da Vontade de potência, teoria, portanto, que possui, na interpretação de Anaxágoras, a primeira elaboração teórica.

Abstract: This article studies the Nietzschean interpretation of a pre-Socratic little considered by the secondary literature: Anaxagoras of Clazomenae. Some elements of Nietzsche’s absolute interpretative originality regarding the traditional exegesis of the Greek philosopher are highlighted such as, for instance, reading the Nous in materialistic terms, the explanation of the birth of qualities from quantitative provisions or interpreting Anaxagorean homeomeries as points of force. From these and other characteristics of the Nietzschean reading of Anaxagoras, precise aspects emerge that will later be found in the theory of the Will to Power, a theory which, therefore, has, in Anaxagoras’ interpretation, the very first theoretical development.

Resumo: Com o presente artigo, pretende-se investigar a compreensão de Nietzsche acerca da arquitetura, a partir de uma análise da formulação: “a arquitetura é uma espécie de eloquência do poder em formas”, contida no aforismo 11, capítulo IX de Crepúsculo dos ídolos. Dada a relação aí contida, entre aquela arte e a doutrina da vontade de potência, procura-se compreender os termos dessa aproximação - inclusive, aqueles que o distanciam da estética schopenhaueriana - e em que medida reverberariam, para além das diversas manifestações estilísticas a ela pertinentes, em uma possível teoria da arquitetura como potência de ocupação.

Abstract: With the present text, we intend to investigate Nietzsche’s understanding about architecture, from an analysis of the formulation: “architecture is a kind of eloquence of power in forms”, from Twilight of the idols, aphorism 11, chapter IX. Given the relationship contained therein, between that art and the doctrine of the will to power, we seek to understand its terms - thus, those who distance it from schopenhauerian aesthetics - and to what extent they would reverberate, in addition to the various stylistic manifestations relevant to it, in a possible theory of architecture as an occupying power.

Resumo: O objetivo deste artigo é investigar o lugar cada vez mais destacado que a questão da forma de expressão passa a ocupar nos escritos de Nietzsche no período entre o fim dos estudos escolares e os primeiros anos dos estudos universitários. Pretendo elucidar a análise desenvolvida por Koberstein, em sua obra Compêndio de história da literatura nacional alemã, sobre a questão da forma de expressão no movimento romântico, para em seguida mostrar como o crescente interesse de Nietzsche pelo emprego de recursos expressivos nos antigos poemas desdobra-se, no período universitário, na busca de uma arte estilística entendida como elo entre arte e ciência.

Abstract: The aim of this article is to investigate the increasingly prominent place that the question of the form of expression takes in Nietzsche’s writings between the end of his school studies and his first years of university studies. I intend to elucidate the analysis developed by Koberstein in his work Outline of the History of German National Literature on the issue of the form of expression in the romantic movement, to then show how Nietzsche’s growing interest in the use of expressive resources in the old poems unfolded during the university period in his search for a stylistic art that would be understood as a link between art and science.

Resumo: O presente artigo propõe desenvolver uma análise da influência da filosofia de Nietzsche no âmbito da obra literária de Robert Musil, especialmente em O homem sem qualidadades (Der Mann ohne Eigenshcaften). É nosso propósito compreender a relevância da filosofia nietzschiana no âmbito da maturidade de Musil, refutando, assim, a conclusão avançada por Jacques Bouveresse relativamente à filosofia nietzschiana como uma mera (e infecunda) paixão de juventude do escritor austríaco. Neste sentido, a análise da importância da vivissecção, enquanto tarefa filosófico-psicológica proclamada por Nietzsche (em Além do bem e do mal) no âmbito do romance de Musil - Musil enquanto vivisecteur e psicólogo - forma o núcleo deste artigo.

Abstract: This paper proposes to develop an analysis of the influence of Nietzsche’s philosophy in Robert Musil’ oeuvre, especially in Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften. It is our purpose to consider the relevance of Nietzsche’s philosophy in the mature Musil, and to refuse the conclusions advanced by Jacques Bouveresse regarding Nietzsche’s philosophy as a mere (and infecund) philosophical influence limited to the youth Musil. Accordingly, the analysis of the importance of the vivisection, as a philosophical-psychological task proclaimed by Nietzsche (in Jenseits von Gut und Böse) in Musil’s novel - Musil as a vivisecteur and psychologist - forms the heart of this article.

Resumo: As bibliotecas dos escritores com frequência fornecem detalhes em relação às suas produções, pois acabam por revelar e alargar a compreensão de algumas influências que, de modo geral, não seriam nítidas em suas obras; muitas vezes, são inspirações provenientes também do momento histórico, sobretudo naqueles que viveram em épocas de profundas transformações. Este artigo tem por objetivo mostrar a influência de Friedrich Nietzsche na vida e em parte das obras de Aldo Palazzeschi produzidas e publicadas na primeira metade do século XX.

Abstract: Writers’ libraries often provide details in relation to their productions, as they end up revealing and broadening the understanding of some influences that, in general, would not be clear in their works; they are often inspirations that also come from the historical moment, especially in those who lived in times of profound changes. This article aims to show the influence of Friedrich Nietzsche in life and in part of the works of Aldo Palazzeschi produced and published in the first half of the 20th century.
