Abstract
The English as a Foreign Language Teacher Education Program from Universidade Estadual de Londrina focuses on the education of English teachers. Therefore, the undergraduate course does not offer, in its regular curriculum, courses on translator education; even so, some students show great interest in the topic. In this direction, a workshop on comics translation was offered in 2019, with a workload of 30 hours. Other than bringing theoretical and practical aspects on comics (Ramos, 2007; Liberatti, 2017) and translation (Nord, 1991; Liberatti, 2017), the objective of this article is to discuss the workshop, which assisted students in developing awareness on aspects of the translation of this discursive hypergenre (Ramos, 2007).
