This research sought to investigate the relationship between professional fulfillment and work engagement among university professors. Methodologically, a survey was administrated to 220 university professors, whose results were analyzed using inferential statistics, and 12 interviews were conducted with professors, whose information was submitted to content analysis. The results showed that the studied constructs are statistically correlated, and the testimonies of the interviewed professors indicated that this relationship may be more strongly constituted based on the dimension of dedication of the construct of work engagement.
