Abstract
This article analyzes the trajectories, skills and practices of the elites of the Ministry of Interior in Argentina during the presidency of Mauricio Macri. Supported by in-depth interviews and the survey of official material and written press, the credentials of these agents and their relevance in facing the specific tests of the portfolio are shown. Nevertheless, it describes the disparate power that its members had before and after coming to government, and argues the importance of studying the concrete stakes and practices of the ruling groups, complementing the analytical look of social properties with a behavioral perspective of the elites.
