Open-access Lo Subjetivo y Lo Operacional em La Superación de las dificultades de aprendizaje em biología

We present a summary of the results of a study on overcoming learning difficulties in biology, based on the theory of subjectivity and social constructivism. The research aimed to understand the subjective configuration of the learning action of three high school students, as well as the subjective and operational changes related to overcoming learning difficulties. We conducted the research over a two-year period in a public high school in Amapá, using several instruments, including a weekly workshop with a group of thirteen interested students. Guided by the principles of qualitative epistemology, constructive-interpretative methodology and social constructivism, we characterized the learning difficulties of the three participants in their subjective and operational dimensions. We also characterized the subjective and operational changes that indicated the overcoming of their learning difficulties. Based on these results, we proposed some challenges for future research in teaching and learning biology.

Key words:
