The psychologist at the Health Family Support Nucleus: articulations of knowledge and actions

Abstract

The present study aims to problematize the practice of the Psychology professionals at the Family Health Support Nucleus (FHSN), focusing in the process of articulating of knowledge inside the multiprofessional team of the FHSN, and the articulation of the actions developed with others teams and institutions of the social and health care network. The results indicate that there are difficulties in establishing interdisciplinary relations inside the teams, as well as a lack of integration with the healthcare network. It also stands out that very little matrix support has being made to Family Health's teams, although this is the central axis of the proposed actions for the FHSN. With a model of operation that is traditionally individual and fragmentary, the Psychology must dedicate itself to the building of new practices that, in the Basic Care context, contributes to articulated and contextualized practices that reflects on the effective integral care for the users.
