The issue in question is the violence in its face over the contemporary context. This article aims to investigate the relationship between violence and symptoms in the present contribution to the psychoanalysis of the Lacanian orientation. Our study allowed us to bring the violence of the so-called new symptoms. We show how the imperatives involved in the excess of enjoyment is characteristic of capitalist discourse in its relation to the discourse of science, so we see how these discourses can produce violence. Our conclusion is that psychoanalysis can lead a person to question the violence and build a knowledge on the cause.
