Abstract
This article analizes some aspects concerning Japanese immigration in Argentina, making emphasize on the social and religious phenomena Soka Gakkai International (SGI). This interpretative approach looks for speeches and practices inscripts in activities and philosophy of the SGI. The purpose is to offer an image where the phenomen implies, among other things, a reservoir of cultural values and a way of social visibilization developed by a part of the Japanese community in Argentina.
