Abstract
This essay presents the happening Flags at General Osório Square, which took place in Rio de Janeiro in 1968, and describes the curatorial proposal and the works of art that compose its resume in 2014 for the exhibition Flags in Tiradentes Square, analyzing contemporary art in its facet of labor of memory that constructs both subject and History.
