Contribution to the Knowledge of Thubunaea dactyluris Karve, 1938 (Nematoda, Spiruroidea)

Abstract

In this paper the authors redescribe Thubunaea dactyluris Karve, 1938 in a new host; this is the first reference of this genus in Brazil. The nematodes were recovered from the stomach of Ameiva ameiva (L.), from Anil Beach, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil. The authors studied eight males and ten females. Nine figures and one measurement table are presented, showing all these variations.
