A study was made of the thymus during the evolution of two experimental tumors, transplantable in rats. A weight-decrease of this organ was accompanied by a gradual disappearence of the lymphocytes. It is suggested that a migration of these thymic lymphocytes take place into the spleen and lymph nodes.
