Human palcentary total extract, Apoidin (Parke Davis - pre-hypophysoid sexual hormone), Cortone (Merck, U.S.A. - acetate of Cortisona) and citrated total blood of the human placenta, when injected as therapeutic treatment, had no beneficient influence in the evolution of the experimental diseas in the V. B. strain in the guienea-pig. The pregnant female guienea-pigs, when inoculated with the V.B. strain often present a morbid evolution apparently more benignant than those not fecundated.
