This article identifies the social experience in the process of group creation during a physical-artistic intervention. Fourteen students participated, with a mean age of 22.57±1.69 years, all enrolled in the Primary Education Teaching degree at the University of Zaragoza – Spain. Data collection was carried out through recall interviews. QSR Nvivo 11 was used for data processing. The results showed that: a) the democratic-assembly process was the main negotiation mechanism; b) the consolidation of familiarity ties among members; c) pride and high commitment to the group; d) the presence of leadership. The main finding is that the collection of the social experience in the group creation process, where consensus, familiarity, and involvement with the group facilitated the creation process.
