A memória da ofensa: recordar, narrar, compreender

This article analyses the novel If this is a man, by Primo Levi. The author aims at understanding how notions such as memory, narration and comprehension are related in Levi's work, which is radically connected to the experience of the Holocaust. Further on, reflects about European memorialist tradition and about the limits and particularities of the autobiographical genre.
