The Perspective of Care Production by Mental Health Workers

Abstract

The article presents an analysis about how the mental health workers think about the care practices e how they are accomplished daily. This work was developed from conversations with professionals in the area, in which theses e the researcher were able to build collectively the art of storytelling about the work processes of their living experiences, and participation in discussion spaces. When looking at the history of madness, there is a change in care practices, which currently go for the protection and freedom thresholds. the care is built by the affections that underlie the meetings between users and workers. A different look this relationship will allow the subjective processes promote new modes of existence in the subject. But, this affectations network may encounter everyday difficulties, bad working conditions and bureaucratic practices, which can prevent the enhancement of affection between the care protagonists. You can build a living working on these obstacles and transform the requirements for flexible modes from ethical-aesthetic-political positions. Therefore, we must pay attention to that stiff modes of organization don’t influence the relationship worker-user form preventing the flow of affectations.
