Badness felt and spoken

The questioning is why badness is as old as humanity and language. The definition and identification of badness with the Other constitute one of the main known axes around which philosophical and psychoanalytical thoughts were fabricated. The helplessness of the newborn human being, his inability to deal with the outer and inner intensities and exigencies, that is, the trauma impact of existence, is certainly one of the main factors for badness conception and the perception of its origin in the other. However, psychoanalysis shows us beyond doubt that the other is also the traumatic source of the human desire and language. The other is called to exercise these functions by the immanent necessities of the original traumatic human condition. We examine some aspects of this paradox complex following its indications in the first Freudian works and relating it to post-Freudian works and its relation with the contemporary scenario
