Abstract
This experience report presents the performance of the psychologist in multifamily groups carried out in a Social Assistance Referral Center (CRAS) with benefciaries of the Bolsa Família Program (PBF), in violation of education conditionality. In a brief and focal approach, multifamily groups have formed, composed of 10 and 15 family heads - especially the mothers. In the group, the mothers’ understanding of what had been happening for their children to attend school has addressed and problematized. Looking for a horizontal relationship, the mothers have invited to express their hypotheses, reflecting on them and on the possibilities of confrontation. It is considered that School Psychology provides important subsidies for the development of forms of care that overcome the habitual blame of poor families for the diffculties they face, seeking to produce them in necessarily broader contexts.
