The Foucault Effect: Changing Truths, Overcoming Dicotomies

The present article is based on ideas contained in some of Foucault' s works, rising questions regarding the way truth is produced, the hegemonical stand-point of positive science and the present binarysms in contemporary world. It still points out how the thought of this philosopher has been a strong tool, which has turned possible to put under analysis the beliefs produced by the platonic thought, yet dominant in the Occident. From this, it puts under discussion the division psychology versus policy, trying to think which effects has been produced by this dicotomy
