Self-concept at work scale: construction and validation

In this work, our purpose is present a scale for the measurement of self-concept at work, constructed from the transposition of L'Écuyer model (1978). We do not have in the literature any report about this type of scale. This emphasizes the importance of making this measure and the construction and validation of scale of this type. In particular, the self-perception can change the performance and the employee satisfaction at work. In this study, we utilized a sample of the 607 employees. We realized the Factors Analyses and the scale is composed by, 43 items to be responded in a Likert's scale (1-never, 3-sometimes, 5-allways) and six factors, that after the confiability analyses present values for the Cronbach's alpha greater than 0.70.
