AVALIATION OF SEVEN MONO AND POLI-EMBRYONIC ROOTSTOCKS IN FOUR CULTIVARS OF MANGO IN BRAZILIAN CERRADO

The mango breeding to select and obtaining cultivars of dwarf rootstocks is very important for the Brazilian cerrados conditions. The North American mango cultivars, normally are vigorous and have tall size, impeding the cultural practices (harvesting and foliar spraying). The main object of this work is to obtain dwarf plants with high yields and high quality fruits.
