Abstract
World aging is a phenomenon that has been largely discussed in the last decade, mainly because of its significant increase. Several researchers in different areas are interested in studying this age group. Unfortunately, elderly people still suffer prejudice, since today the idea of aging is regarded as synonym to disease and incapacity. Another common theme nowadays is to talk about the concept of love. It is hard to talk about these themes, due to methodological difficulties and conceptual inaccuracies inherent to it. However, one can grow old healthy, expressing love and sexuality, elements which are sometimes neglected by the elderly. This study aims to carry out an accurate analysis of some publications that study aging, love and sexuality, so as to offer the reader a panorama of these important themes, that sometimes represent theoretical and existential gaps in themselves.
