Abstract
This essay discusses the panorama of occupational accidents in Brazil using as basis the analysis of the latest news that came out in the press. The contents show the problems persistence over the last three-decade global capitalism's crisis. The author analyzes the relations of this panorama with the obstacles and challenges for propositions, actions and policies in the field of Worker's Health. He concludes that they occur due to the absence of inter-institutional action and trade unions' frailty in overcoming these impasses.
