The choice of the theme is connected to the many critical aspects shown essentially in the organization of the curricular structure of the Master Degree in Nursery at EEAN/UFRJ, and of the course as a whole. The central point approached in this article concerns the changes in the curriculum at the Master Degree level, as a response to the demands of the assisting nurses. It presents the results from a process of curriculum evaluation, in which teachers, students and invited professionals took part.
