O papel dos regolitos nos processos de recarga de aqüíferos do Distrito Federal

This paper aims to investigate the porous domain recharge susceptibility of the main regolith classes in the Federal District. For this purpose, it was made "in situ" infiltration tests in 30 spots distributed around the Federal District territory, comprising different pedological, geomorphological and geological contexts. In every spot, the intention was to achieve one superficial test in addition to four different depths tests (50 cm, 100cm, 150 cm and 200 cm). Among the main results achieved, it should be stressed: The latossoil association (P1, P2 and P3 systems), in function of the relatively high hydraulic conductivity rates, presents the best recharge conditions, considering the fact that it was observed an increase in the conductivity rates in the latossoils developed from quartzites and sandy metarrythmites (P1 system). Cambissoils and metapelitic saprolites gather the worst recharge conditions due to the lowest hydraulic conductivity rates obtained. It was observed a shrinking conductivity trend as the depth increases. The vertical hydraulic conductivity rates variations suggest a pedological textures and structures conditioning, such as the presence of stone lines, petroplintic horizons and degraded laterites along with the profile.
