Unproductive sexuality and resistance in the song Geni e o zepelim, by Chico Buarque

ABSTRACT

The paper analyzes the lyrics of the song Geni e o zeppelin, by Chico Buarque, seeking to reflect about its political-critical potentially, which we attribute to the way its author-creator, an axiological position refracted by the author-person, reorders discourses and historical experiences according to certain aesthetic intentions. About the representation of the character Geni, we highlight a position of resistance against the capitalist-colonial oppression through the experience of sexual practices not only morally transgressive, but above all economically unproductive.
