Social Movements and Social Transformation: theoretical concepts in the Marxist tradition

The purpose of this essay is to discuss the premises of the analysis of the theme social movements and social transformation found in the Marxist formulation. To do so, it looks at the work of classic authors, particularly Lenin, Rosa Luxemburg and Gramsci. It highlights, based on these authors, the determinations fundamental to the analysis of the social struggles of the working class, emphasizing the theory of organization, the broad participation of the masses and the construction of a new hegemony.
