This object provides them with a "unique" sensation that gives them peace of mind and bliss they cannot - and even do not want to - do without. Keeping this "transitional object" raises a dual question as to the nature and status of the object on the one hand and, on the other, the existence of a fetishism typical of women, therefore associated with a specific erotic dimension.
