This article discusses an important aspect of today’s psychoanalytic clinical work, namely, an increase in the phenomenon of acting-out among adolescent subjects. The main focus of this analysis is the confluence of this problem with certain features of the contemporary organization of the family. The notion of psychic transmission articulates the main elements involved in the central issue involved in this article.
