The use of nanotechnology in asphalt pavements is a revolution. Its use provides the raising of durability and resistance to cracks developing on the pavement. In this context as an alternative is the use of nanoclay. The incorporation of nanoclay in petroleum asphalt cement (PAC) provides improvement in the physical, rheological and mechanical properties of asphalt mixtures. In this study, it was used the SUPERPAVE method for analyzing the behavior of asphalt mixtures which takes the PAC 50/70 modified with the following additions: organophilic modified Montmorillonite(OMMT) and the pure Montmorillonite clay (MMT). In the tests of Tensile Strength and Resilient Modulus, the results indicated that the additions of OMMT and MMT clays caused an increase in the values, when it is compared to unmodified asphalt binder
