Sex/pleasure in Islam is devotion

Abstract

This paper discusses sexuality and pleasure in Islam from the perspective of married Muslim women, whether born or reverted to Islam, who uses the hijab, the Islamic headscarf. In Islam sexuality is considered licit after the religious marriage. There are several prescriptions for sexual intercourse, whereas sexual pleasure is a women’s right, not just for procreation.
