ABSTRACT
The paper reports the experience of the First Workshop on Continuing Education in Health (EPS) for Oral Health Technicians (TOH) and Oral Health Auxiliaries (AOH) of Maringá (Paraná, Brazil), organized by Universidade Estadual de Maringá and City Hall. Using a problem situation, discussions took place from a fictitious case, From a total of 76 participants, 37% knew EPS, 29% performed it and 94% would like to know more. It was found that knowledge about EPS is restricted, there is great interest of TOH and AOH on the subject and is of fundamental importance to include these professionals in discussions of the work process for the qualification of attention.
