This article has as thematic the garbage and considerations about certain perceptible environmental impacts that the solid residues enlarge in fragments of the urban environment. We approached negative environmental impacts caused by the use forms, customs and perceptible cultural habits in cities of Brazil. We register that the garbage impacts negatively certain urban environments, as street margins and river-beds, provoked by the existence of habits of inadequate final arrangement of residues. We show part of environmental perception of social actors in Medianeira city - West of Paraná - Brazil - concerning garbage.
