Understanding rights and weakness for a new approach on ethics in nursing

In this article it was our objective to problematize the socio-economic privations of the users of a public health service as one of the precarization conditioners of the attendance to their rights to health. Within that perspective, we worked with the idea of rights and vulnerability, starting from the viewpoint that there are new notions to be incorporated so that nursing may think her praxis having the user as a partner in the claiming for better work conditions. So, we think that nursing is one of the health professional categories that shelters within herself the greatest possibilities of sensitivity increase in relation to the notion of vulnerability of the user under her care, because many of their components are also users of the public health services and suffer the same constraints that the great majority of users. So, we conclude that when trying to aggregate efforts and create synergies among users and workers, it becomes possible to create a context that is more in favor of the development of better conditions of work in the studied public health services.
