Abstract:
This is an interview with Michael Frisch, an American historian specializing in oral history, public history and, more recently, digital history. Formulator of the influential concept of “shared authority”, Frisch presents, in this interview, moments of his formation, insertion in different institutional cultures and the relations between public history and multiculturalism. He discusses the role of technology in historical research on oral and public history - amid the current context, under the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
