Resumos

Os autores relatam um caso de obstrução traumática de carótida associada à fístula carótido-cavernosa homolateral tardia. São comentados aspectos da sintomatologia clínica e do resultado obtido pelo tratamento da fístula.

A case of carotid traumatic occlusion associated to late homolateral carotid-cavernous fistula is reported. Clinical features and treatment results are discussed.

RESUMO

Os autores relatam um caso de obstrução traumática de carótida associada à fístula carótido-cavernosa homolateral tardia. São comentados aspectos da sintomatologia clínica e do resultado obtido pelo tratamento da fístula.

SUMMARY

A case of carotid traumatic occlusion associated to late homolateral carotid-cavernous fistula is reported. Clinical features and treatment results are discussed.
