The effect of sulphur on yields of soybeans in dark red latosol sandy phase soil

SUMMARY

In Dark Red Latosol-sandy phase soil the application of sulphur increased soybean yield when soybean was the first crop to be planted. There was no response to the application of this nutrient on soybean yield when in the previous years crops were planted and where phosphorus was applied as simple superphosphate.
