New Occurrence of Pleuroziaceae, Eopleurozia paradoxa (HEPATICOPSIDA)

The first record in Brazil of Eopleurozia paradoxa (Jack.) Schust., is reported. A description of the species with notes on the habitat and geographical distribution.
