SUMMARY
This work deals with the study of the anatomical characters of the genera SCLEROLOBIUM and TACHIGALIA (LEGUMINOSAE - CAESALPINIOIDEAE) from the Amazonia. For each one information about general characteristics of wood microscopic description, uses, examined material, twenty microphotographs of the wood samples (cross section and longitudinal section), a table of the principal characteristics and anatomical differences of the species are presented.
