This word dealt with the effects of depth and position during sowing on the germination percentage, index of emergency spped and formation of shaft of cedrorana (Cedrelinga catenaeformis Ducke) seedlings. Two different depts and three positions were analyzed . The treatment 2 cm depth and the natural position of seeds falling were the best results to abbreviate, uniformize and to increase the germination and also to get a higher percentage of seedlings with straight shaft.
