SUMMARY
Four cultivars of Indian Spinach (Basella alba L. Syn B. rubra) werw compared in an experiment in Ouro Preto D'Oeste, Rondônia, from january to april, 1985. The cultivars used werw: INPA 80, INPA 81, TATÁ and CALCUTÁ. Significant differences were detected among cultivar TATÁ presented the highest yields, producing 685 and 992 g/plant at the second harvest and for total yield, respectively.
